Board of Education

Jarod Bushey is a dedicated husband, father, and aerospace engineer with a passion for education and community. With prior Board of Education experience and two children currently in the Lyme-Old Lyme school system, Jarod is committed to maintaining strong schools, academic excellence, and responsible budgeting.

Highlights in service and experience:

• Married father of two elementary-age children in Lyme-Old Lyme Schools

• Committed to strong public education, academic rigor, and fiscal responsibility

• 20-year aerospace career; currently an engineer at Pratt & Whitney in Middletown

• Former Board of Education member in East Hampton, Connecticut

• Brings firsthand BOE experience and a deep passion for preserving the high quality of LOL Schools

• Enjoys boating, live music, cooking, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with his family
