A retired Master Sergeant and Executive Officer with the Connecticut State Police, John has built his career on integrity, accountability, and collaboration. His experience spans leadership roles in multiple state police barracks, community-based policing, crisis management, and interagency coordination. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, John brings discipline, organizational skill, and a steadfast commitment to serving the people of Old Lyme.

• Twenty years with the Connecticut State Police, including roles as Master Sergeant, Executive Officer, Sergeant, and Resident Trooper - Nine years municipal police officer

• Oversaw daily operations, supervised officers and troopers, managed budgets, coordinated special events, and led high-profile investigations

• Extensive experience in community relations, labor relations, and public safety initiatives

• U.S. Marine Corps Corporal – served as fire team leader and squad leader; received multiple commendations for leadership and performance, including assignments at the White House, Pentagon, and Arlington National Cemetery
