• He and his wife raised three sons, all graduates of the Lyme-Old Lyme school system who still live and work in town

• 50-year member of the Old Lyme Volunteer Fire Department

• Former Trustee of Lyme Hope

• Past Chair of the Flood & Erosion Control Board

• Current Chair of the Shellfish Commission

• 10-year member of the Planning Commission
